Having trouble opening your newly downloaded .UIF file? You’re not alone!
UIF (Universal Image Format) files are created by MagicISO. It’s basically a complete copy, otherwise known as an image, of a CD or DVD – very similar to an ISO. So here’s a quick 2 step solution to opening these files! As always, download links are listed at the bottom of this page.
Step 1. Download UIF2ISO v0.1.3 – This will convert the UIF file into an ISO.
Step 2. Either extract individual files by opening the ISO file using 7-Zip, or burn the ISO file using ISO Recorder.

7-Zip is a file archiver with a high compression ratio. The program supports 7z, ZIP, CAB, RAR, ARJ, LZH, CHM, GZIP, BZIP2, Z, TAR, CPIO, ISO, MSI, WIM, NSIS, RPM and DEB formats. Usually, 7-Zip compresses to 7z format 30-70% better than to zip format. And 7-Zip compresses to zip format 2-10% better than most of other zip compatible programs.

So what is HDR (High Dynamic Range)?
Put simply it allows you to create images that are more like what the human eye may see. To create HDR images you need to take multiple exposures (over exposed, correctly exposed, under exposed) and combine the images, or take a RAW image and extract the additional shadow and highlight detail from the file.
To do this you will need some HDR or Tone Mapping software and there’s no better software than free software!
